Small is beautiful I just love these days in between Christmas and normal life. All the hurrying of holidays is done and the normal life is there around the corner but not just yet. We had guests on Christmas Day and Stephen's Day but now all is very quiet and not much is happening. I can sit by the fire, have candle light and just stop in my thoughts or take a book or a knitting or a quiet walk. There is this never ending housework but now can be done off rigid schedule since children are off school.

(This is Shetland spindrift in the fore ground. Two Swans Yarns carries full colour range in US and they have also the beautiful mitten yarn Finnish Satakieli.) and here is the Starmore book, there is a tea mug, dictionary, tape measure, some Pirkka yarn, two knits that we won't mention because they are going to the frog pond and notice the small basket on the left and the size of it compared to Mr Cat. I tried to arrange the desk a bit and lifted the basket to the floor and this happened later on. He managed to settle in there and took a long nap.
